EduThink provides specialised training and facilitation for schools across South Africa, helping SMTs, SGBs, RCLs and District officials build stronger leadership capacity, improve school performance, and align practice with national education policy. Our programmes focus on the real challenges schools face—conflict, communication breakdowns, unclear roles, inconsistent management styles, and the need for stronger instructional leadership.

Conflict is unavoidable in any school environment—but unmanaged conflict damages morale, disrupts teaching, and weakens governance. Our conflict management training helps SMTs, SGBs, RCLs and District officials understand their own conflict styles, recognise the patterns that escalate tension, and develop practical strategies to resolve disputes constructively.

Using visual tools, scenario-based facilitation, and real school examples, we help teams build healthier communication, stronger collaboration, and a more resilient school culture.

Every school leader has a management style—but not every style supports effective teaching and learning. Our management style workshops help SMTs and District officials identify their dominant leadership patterns, understand how these patterns affect staff performance, and explore alternative approaches that create a more supportive and accountable school environment.

This training builds self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the confidence to lead with purpose.

Instructional leadership is the core driver of school improvement. Our training helps SMTs and District officials strengthen curriculum oversight, improve classroom monitoring, and support teachers more effectively. We focus on practical tools for lesson observation, feedback, assessment alignment, and data-driven decision-making.

This programme empowers leaders to create a culture of continuous improvement in every classroom.

EduThink supports schools in developing and implementing School Improvement Plans that are aligned with DBE policy and grounded in realistic, measurable goals. We facilitate collaborative planning sessions with SMTs, SGBs, and District officials to ensure alignment, ownership, and accountability.

We guide schools through data analysis, priority setting, and action planning—ensuring that improvement is not just documented, but implemented.

Poor communication is one of the biggest barriers to effective school management. Our communication training helps SMTs, SGBs, RCLs and District officials improve clarity, listening skills, assertiveness, and professional dialogue.

This training strengthens relationships, reduces conflict, and improves the overall functioning of the school.

EduThink has extensive experience training Representative Councils of Learners across South Africa. Our RCL programmes build confidence, leadership skills, communication ability, and an understanding of governance roles.

Our workshops are interactive, energising, and designed to empower young leaders.

EduThink has trained thousands of School Governing Body members nationwide. Our SGB training covers legislation, roles, finance, HR, policy, and effective governance practices.

Our facilitation builds confident, informed, and united governing bodies.

SMTs are the engine room of school leadership. Our SMT training strengthens teamwork, strategic thinking, communication, and instructional leadership.

We facilitate strategic sessions, team-building, and leadership development tailored to each school’s needs.

EduThink works closely with District officials to support school oversight, monitoring, and professional development. We facilitate circuit-based workshops for multiple schools, ensuring consistent messaging, shared learning, and aligned improvement strategies.
